Fall Engineering Career Fair

Dear Organization Representative:

The Albert Nerken School of Engineering at The Cooper Union and the Professional Engineering Societies* of The Cooper Union, and the Center for Career Development cordially invite you to participate in our Fall Engineering Career Fair to be held on Tuesday, October 14, 2014 in the Great Hall of the Foundation Building.

The Cooper Union offers degree programs in civil, chemical, mechanical, and electrical engineering. More information about our engineering students and degrees can be found via the Albert Nerken School of Engineering website and catalog.

The 550 engineering students invited to attend this fair will be seeking internships as well as full-time positions. as full-time positions. For additional information, please contact the Center for Career Development (career@cooper.edu or 212.353.4377).

Registration

Register for the Fall Engineering Career Fair via the Cooper Career Connection (C3). Please note that we accept credit card payments online. The registration deadline is Monday, October 6, 2014.

Logistics

The Fair will be held on Tuesday, October 14, 2014, from 12 noon to 2pm in the Great Hall of the Foundation Building at 7 East 7th Street, NY, NY. Click here for directions to The Cooper Union campus.

Tables
Before registering, please note that each organization will share a 6- or 8-foot by 3-foot rectangular table.

Table Assignment
Tables will be selected on a first-come, first-served basis. Recruiter check-in and a light breakfast and early lunch will begin at 10:00am

Access to electrical outlet depends on location, so please have laptops fully charged. We allow a maximum of 3 representatives per organization.

Displays
Due to space constraints, small-scale table or floor displays must conform to your shared table space.

Fee
The fee for the Career Fair is $400 per organization and $200 for government or non-profit organizations. The fee for educational institutions is waived. The fee for educational institutions is waived. This includes breakfast and lunch for up to a maximum of 3 representatives from each organization. We accept check or credit card payments. Checks should be made payable to The Cooper Union at the address below and payment is due by Friday, October 10, 2014.

Boxes
Boxes sent prior to the day of the career fair will be made available for you to pickup at the main entrance of the event.

You must be able to identify your boxes, so please label them clearly. In addition, if you plan on having boxes sent back to you, include pre-prepared return slips with your account number and scannable barcode.
